The Bachelor’s Degree BA(Hons) in Graphic Design in Málaga is an ideal choice for those wishing to pursue a career in the fields of creativity, visual communication and digital design. Graphic design is applied visual communication: a discipline that combines photography, illustration, specialist software and audiovisual techniques to convey messages effectively.
A professional graphic designer must be able to create coherence, balance and visual impact, helping to build the identity and reputation of companies, brands and institutions. Studying graphic design opens the door to a highly competitive professional environment where there is a high demand for qualified professionals.
At EADE, this degree offers an excellent opportunity for entering the job market, with a very high employment rate, close to 100%, even before students complete their studies. Furthermore, the centre boasts state of the art facilities and technical equipment (plotter, photography studio, green screen, 3D printer, Mac lab, touchscreen monitors, light table, etc.), enabling practical training that is aligned with the realities of the professional world.
If you are looking to study graphic design in Malaga with an international, practical, up to date and market oriented approach, this programme is a solid opportunity to develop your professional future.
The Higher Design Degrees offered by EADE are official university degrees comprising 240 ECTS credits and lasting four years, in accordance with Law 1/2024 of 7 June, which regulates higher arts education and establishes the organisation and equivalencies of professional arts education.
The curriculum for the Official Higher Artistic Education in Design for the Autonomous Community of Andalusia was published in Decree 111/2014 of 8 July, which establishes Higher Artistic Education in Design in Andalusia. This official qualification is awarded by the President of the Regional Government of Andalusia on behalf of the King of Spain.
These official qualifications are valid throughout the State and take full effect from the date of complete completion of the studies corresponding to their attainment, and entitle their holders to enjoy the rights granted in each case by the regulations in force.
These courses do not require the Selectividad or EBAU (University entrance exams) as an entry requirement, but candidates must pass a specific compulsory test which the Regional Government of Andalusia usually sets in early July and September/October. EADE provides free preparation for candidates to pass this test; to date, 100% of students have passed.
Places for the Specific Test will be available for booking from January onwards. The Centre for Higher Studies in Design is authorised by the Regional Ministry of Education of the Regional Government of Andalusia, with centre code number 29018844. As this is an official Spanish qualification, students are eligible for public grants such as the General Grant or the Adriano Grant.
